The Grudge 2 (SPOILERS!!!!) « Thread Started on Oct 13, 2006, 8:44pm »
yeah, i just got back from seeing the U.S. Version. Here's my review/summary.
*Spoilers*Unlike the first grudge movie, most of the film takes place in the US. Amber Tamblyn plays SMG's sister. Of course she gets the axe, along with everyone else in the film (assumed). The sister suffers the same fate as the woman who was originally killed in the house (broken neck, bloody chin). Then you see that one of the school girls that had gone into the house and saw the woman, you find out that that was Amber Tamblyn, who is now a person who curses people. Then the curse excapes with a girl who moves back to the states after going in the house. it affects everyone in the aparment complex and a little boys family all gets killed and he finds their bodies! (sick!) then he sees the school girl in the hallway and the scene where she gets pulled into her hood (like in the comercial) and then the first evil woman appears and does the gurgle thing and zooms in on her eye (just like the ending in the first movie) and then it's over. So basically, everyone dies and your pretty sure that the little boy does too. you also find out that when the evil woman was a child, her mother would take evil spirits out of people and fed them to her daughter. it's messed up, but it does make you crave for a sequel. (especially when in this movie you find out that the curse can never be stopped, it makes you want to see if anyone ever finds a way.) *end Spoilers* i give it a 4/5.
