Alrighty. Simple enough. The world we live in, called Rakuen, is inhabitated by three main species:
1) Humans-normal, everyday humans
2) Balkena- like a human, but has abnormal abilites, such as shooting ice spears, flight, etc.
3)Half-breed-half human, half Balkena. Most have the Balkena abilites but are weaker.
This world is a more fuedal version of earth. In otherwords, it takes place in the past. There are no cars, indoor plumbing, stuff like that.
There are many towns in Rakuen, some Balkena, some human, some a mix. You will not always be welcome in every place, because some humans hate Balkena for being so strong, while some Balkena hate humans for being so weak. In the end, you will have freinds and enemies.

Powers: Can manipulate and manufacture fire, is extremly quick, and can levitate herself and other objects.
Character Sheet: Name: phoenix Age: 17 Race: Balkena Sex: male Appearance: Powers: control over fire and flight (he has wings) Weapons: none mainly used is powers Short Bio: hes is most powerful during the day and draws his energy from the sun depending on the weather depends on his strength
phoenix streched as he walked out into the street he was wearing a long cloke that covered hie wings to stop people from pointing or making a fuss about is as people like him wernt allowed in the village and he new they wold jump at a chance to rid the world of 1 more abnormailtie but phoenixdidnt care nor was he scared he could walk away from the fight without even a single scratch and leave the village in mourning for the next lifetime but he decided it was best to keep his clam and act "normal" and so he threw his bag ova his back and tightend his wings and walked through the street people where staring but only cos he was a new face in town and he wasnt planning on staying long he had only come to say good by to his mother before taking back off and starting a new life some but where he didnt know quite yet.....

Can read whatever they are thinking, but can also kill them using the same amount of energy (if Balkena or half-breed) Weapons: whip Short Bio: Has lived on her own since she was 10. She lived in the woods just outside of a all-human town, she seeks to find the ungrateful human bastard who killed her father in front of her eyes and let her live just to suffer. She often dwells in dark corners of both Human and Balkena Towns
Rae hurried quietly through the human town, as she tucked the stolen apple inside her pocket. "Hey a girl gotta eat," she thought to herself with a grin. She turned a corner into an alleyway and all her Balkena senses heightened, she felt another Balkena, maybe one lurking in the dark. This frightened her, in all the years she had came to this town she had never felt another Balkena that was more than half breed. She was suddenly startled by human voice behind her “THIEF!” the voice echoed through the alleyway and shot up every nerve of her body. She immediately began to sprint across the alley looking back only once. As she looked straight she slammed into a man in a long coat. She fell to the ground as she realized he was the Balkena. Her eyes grew wide as she studied every inch of him. He wasn’t half bad looking, in fact he wasn’t bad at all.

~Lyra sighed heavily as she stalked the streets of the human town, Celestia. "Pathetic humans," she mumbled. They hadn't even noticed she wasn't like them. She was a Balkena, and proud. A boy, possibly only a year younger than herself, let out a whistle as she walked by. She ignored him and strode on. A shout pierced through the air. "THIEF!" Lyra turned to see two Blakena standing together, a young male and female. She reconized the female as Rae, an old friend. She almost called out to her when she relaized the two Balkena were being pursued by a group of humans. Lyra readied her whip and took of after them.
Rae stumbled to her feet as she caught the young mans gaze exuse me she said following his eyes oh so carefully. When out of a corner of the left eye she noticed a young balkena running towards her.She automaticaly recongized the face."Lyra" Rae whispered under her breath the humans that now began surrounding them seemed invisible to Rae as Lyra grew near. A human swore loudly and startled Rae breaking her thoughts.A hoard of humans now were near all to see what the fuss was about "pathetic humans" Rae thought with a smirk. "If only they knew what they were truly up against" Rae thought as she realized they still thought the three Balkenas were humans. As Lyra came close Rae quietly asked "I thought you were dead"

~Lyra's eyes dropped. "In a way, I was." She whispered. She turned to face the men. As Lyra raised her hand, flames formed on her fingertips. "Yo-you're one of th-them?!" One of the humans asked. Lyra smiled. the men screamed at the tops of their lungs. "Balkena!!!" Another yelled, and soon a mob formed. "We have to get out of here, now!" Lyra shouted. The group took off at full speed, heading out of the city. They burst through the gates and headed down the trail out. as soon as they were far enough away, Lyra turned to Rae. "So, what's new with you?" she asked, grinning.
Rae studied Lyra for a second then slowly answered "Nothing important" she muttered as she took the apple out of her pocket and took a bite. "Fighting for survival trying to stay as unknown as possible,you know i want to find them not let them find me. Do you know who that Balkena was? He looked very mysterious, Balkena never wonder into these parts too many humans. He seemed kinda suspicious" Rae said taking another bite and walking towards the woods near the city. "His eyes seemed so familiar," Rae thought to herself.

~Lyra shook her head. "I haven't the slightest clue," she told her. "It's strange, to see another Blakena in a human town, other than us." Lyra smiled. "Of course, we've always been like that, haven't we? Always blending in so well. Or trying to, at least." Lyra looked around. "Well, where to next? I doubt they'll welcome us back there." She motioned towrard the town.
